Most electricians hand you a bid. We hand you a plan.

For 40 years, the people who keep homes and buildings running have wanted the same thing from an electrician. Someone who listens first, lays out the options in plain English, and does what they said they would. That is the company we built.

OUR STORY

Built on 40 years in the trade

MD Electrical opened in 2018 in Oregon City, but the trade behind it goes back much further. Michael Dutton is a second-generation electrician. He grew up around the work, spent summers on job sites with his dad, and worked his way from shop hand to purchasing agent to a licensed electrician with 40 years in the field.

Over those years he kept seeing the same things frustrate people. The contractor who never calls back. The surprise charge at the end of the job. The expert who talks down to you instead of explaining what is going on.

So he built a different kind of electrical company. One where you deal with the person responsible for your project, you know the budget before the work starts, and the job gets done the way it was promised.

A clear path from first call to finished job

01

We listen first

Before we talk solutions, we get clear on what you actually need. We ask questions, walk the site, and make sure we understand your goal, your timeline, and your budget.

No guesswork and no surprises. Here is how a project works with us.

02

We hand you a plan

You get your options in plain English and a clear budget before any work starts. You will know what is included, what is not, and what it costs, so you can decide with confidence.

03

We do what we said

One point of contact from start to finish. We show up when we say we will, keep you posted, handle the permits and inspections, and leave the site clean.

The people behind the work

MD Electrical is a small, family-owned crew. The same people who scope your project are the ones who show up and stand behind it.
