Michael Dutton

Owner

Michael Dutton is the General Manager and founder of MD Electrical Services and a second-generation electrician with over 40 years in the trade. He holds Oregon General Supervising and Washington Master Electrician licenses, an OSHA 500 certification, a Bachelor's in Business, and an MBA. Michael's strength is design-build work for commercial and institutional clients, where he acts as his clients' professional advocate from the first conversation through final inspection. Originally from Southern California, he has called the Gladstone/Oregon City area home for over 50 years.

Bryon Beck

Lead Electrician

Bryon Beck is a Journeyman Electrician at MD Electrical Services with 41 years in the electrical trade. He holds a Journeyman Electrical license and an OSHA 30 certification. Bryon works across commercial and residential jobs and is known for his troubleshooting and for the clean, neat panels he wires. Originally from Norton, Kansas, he spends his time outside of work on his Corvette and at car shows.

Joshua Dutton

Journeyman Electrician

Joshua Dutton is a Journeyman Electrician at MD Electrical Services and a third-generation electrician who learned the trade from his father, a master electrician. He has spent the past seven years in the industry, all of them with MD. He holds General Journeyman Electrician licenses in Oregon and Washington, a Class B license, and OSHA 10 certification. His specialty is residential troubleshooting and panel upgrades done cleanly enough to skip the drywall repair.

Mark Rygh

Electrical Forman

Mark Rygh is the Electrical Forman at MD Electrical Services and brings more than 30 years of electrical experience to the team. He holds Oregon and Washington Journeyman Electrical licenses, an OSHA 30 certification, and current CPR and First Aid training. Mark's specialty is electrical troubleshooting, though he is equally at home on residential, commercial, and service calls. He lives in Keizer with his family.

Sharon Dutton

Office Admin

Sharon Dutton runs the office at MD Electrical Services and has been with the company since it opened in 2018. She came to the business through family and keeps the day-to-day moving with steady office support. What she values most about MD is the people and the team approach to getting every job done. A lifelong Oregonian, Sharon enjoys camping and cooking when she is away from the office.

Jennifer Stevens

Office Administrator

Jennifer Stevens has been the Office Manager at MD Electrical Services since August 2022, keeping the company running smoothly behind the scenes. With a background in office administration and customer service, she manages scheduling, customer communications, and project coordination, helping keep every job on track from the first call through completion. She also represents MD at community and networking events, holds Elevated Platform Operator and Trainer certifications, and is a commissioned Notary Public. Away from the office, Jennifer enjoys road trips around the Pacific Northwest, paddle boarding, and the outdoors with family and friends.

Elijah Hedlund

Journeyman Electrician

Elijah Hedlund is a Journeyman Electrician at MD Electrical Services who has worked in the trade since 2013 and joined MD in 2020. He holds Oregon and Washington Journeyman licenses, an OSHA 30 certification, and aerial lift training. Elijah's strengths are service work, remodels, and troubleshooting, with a sharp eye for reading a home's history and heading off problems before they start. A lifelong Salem resident, he lives there with his wife and four daughters.
